Components

The Solbox HLS Library is the core component of Solbox HLS provided as a library without user interface (UI). You can develop your own mobile applications by using the Solbox HLS Library.

The Solbox HLS Player is an application to utilize the Solbox HLS, available in the Google play market. You can deploy an UI-based application using the Solbox HLS Library and support Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming in web environment interconnected with the web browser of Android.

Service Architecture - The Solbox HLS Gateway for Android enables the Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming on various Android devices like smart phones and tablet PCs. When the Android users playbacks the contents created with the Apple’s HTTP Live Streaming Protocol, the contents are streamed in the RTSP or RTP converted through Solbox HLS Library in Android 2.3 or lower versions.
